Firstofall, Welcome to Revelatio.
We are a site who aims to welcome everybody, however it has been decided that this is a place for intermediate and upwards roleplayers. We apologize to those who feel put off by this requirement.
This is in order to maintain activity and help everyone's muse as far as possible!
Now to the rules;
Posting:
- For now, there will be no word limit. But please, give your fellow roleplayers something that they can work with. If we find this is a struggle, a word limit will be placed on all posts.
- Please do not hassle others for their replies, they will get to it when they can.
- Please proof read your posts for spelling, punctuation and grammar. Small mistakes are expected, but constant mistakes that could be fixed through proofreading will be commented on.
- Iffamatory, racist and offensive lanaguage or talk is not permitted under any circumstances. Same goes with bullying.
In Charrie;
- Please no power playing. It takes the fun away for the other role players. Let them decide how their charrie reacts to yours. It is acceptable to use things such as nipping, nuzzling etc, but in moderation.
- This is a semi-realistic RPG. So please, no wings, horns or oddly coloured horses. Only natural colourings please. Some odd colourings for breeds will be allowed.
- All breeds of horses are acceptable here, but please stick to the heights of the breeds. No 18hh arabs or 12hh shires!
- Stallions or mares can claim, lead, steal and challenge. Possibly not realistic, but allows for more scope.
- Swearing in posts is ok to a moderate amount. Just don't make everything "F this and F that" In OOC, just keep it to an extreme minimum.
- When posting an application, please wait to be accepted by a member of staff before posting anywhere.
- Only one land owner per member please. This keeps it as fair as possible. There are more lands to be released once we are up and active.
Graphics:
- Please make sure that all your graphics, manipulations, avatars, tables etc are used in accordance with copyright laws. Please credit anyone who needs it. Please also make sure that you abide by any stock rules that your images may have. Not many stock providers allow you to just place text on the image to use. We won't moderate this for now, but if it becomes a problem, images will have to be approved by us before you can use them.
- Images on the board must adhere to a maximum width of 600 pixels.
- Artists may set their own rules within your own studios; if you are requesting an image from them, please adhere to them.
Lands:
- In order to claim a land, please place a post roleplaying out your characters entrance and how they choose to claim it.
- When the claim has been accepted, the Leaders name will change on the outside board.
- Once a leader starts to claim dwellers, they most post a thread with rankings and rules for their dwellers to follow.
- Leaders do not need to have mates, or seconds in command, that is there choice so do not pester them.
- Leaders may drop their second in command for any reason.
- To keep their land, herd-leaders must post in character at least once a week unless the player is absent and has posted an away message. This is to try and keep things active.
Companions:
- All royal family members may have a companion. Animals may include; birds and anything up to small mammals.
- Any OTM may receive their choice of a companion as a reward.
- They do not have their own threads or plots, they are as a side to your character. Please don't go overboard with them, and make sure they are approved by admin.
Lights & Neutrals & Darks
- You may post your different alignments with each other, infact it is very much encouraged as it causes interesting plots:)
- A dark stallion may claim a light mare as a light stallion may claim a dark mare, neutrals can also claim whomever they would like.
- Neutrals can lean either more towards the dark side or more towards the light side.
- Darks do not neccessarily have to be completely evil, blood thirsty creatures as Lights do not have to be sweet angelic creatures. Throw some other traits in there, make life interesting;D
